Who can enter
This competition is open to any CPA Academy user in a qualifying CPA member country - that includes Cameroon, Eswatini, Fiji, the Gambia, Ghana, Guyana, India, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Samoa, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sri Lanka, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, St. Lucia, Tanzania, Trinidad & Tobago, Uganda, Zambia or Zimbabwe.
Entrants must be pharmacists and full members of their national pharmacy association (or in Rwanda, the National Pharmacy Council), or a current pharmacy student at a higher education institution in one of the above countries.
How to enter
Taking part in the contest is easy - all you have to do is complete one of the qualifying courses below, and you'll earn one ticket for the prize draw. Complete more courses and you get more tickets, up to a maximum of five tickets per person, which means the more courses you complete the more chances you have to win! You have to complete each course by July 3rd 2026 to earn a ticket, but it doesn't matter when you started the course.
All of these courses take around four hours to complete, meaning you could easily earn one or two tickets a week with a bit of studying time! In order to earn a ticket, you need to pass the final assessment. Click on a course below to start studying and earn your first ticket!

The $1,000+ USD prize is to fund your attendance at a conference, symposium or similar event or activity anywhere in the world. It's up to you what event you want to use the funds to cover - but it must an event reasonably relevant to pharmacy, medicine or healthcare as a whole. You don't need to have decided what event to attend before you enter the competition and if you win, CPA can help you with figuring out what might be a good fit for you.
The prize money is intended to be used to help pay for your transport, accommodation and other reasonable needs you might have to allow you to attend the event. For example, you could use it to pay for flights to and a hotel in a country you might not normally be able to visit with your budget, making this a hugely exciting opportunity. We will also consider requests to use the funds to help cover the cost of childcare, if you are a parent for who one of the main barriers to attending conferences or similar events is finding someone to look after your children.
It is up to CPA exactly how the grant is paid out. It may be that we are able to pay directly for e.g. your transport and accommodation, or that we pay you in part or in whole. In all cases you will need to provide evidence of how the prize money is used to ensure that the funds are spent for their proper purpose.
What if I have fewer than five courses left to complete?
We do not want anyone to be disadvantaged or punished for already making good use of the CPA Academy's online learning! Users who did not have five courses left to complete at the start of the competition on June 1st will receive bonus tickets at the time of the draw. For example if you only had three courses left to complete, and you completed one of them, you would receive one regular ticket and two bonus tickets.
