St. Vincent and The Grenadines Pharmaceutical Association

Welcome to the St. Vincent & the Grenadines Pharmaceutical Association Inc (SVGPAINC) members’ area for Continuing Professional Development.
This CPD platform will provide a crucial access point to continuing education (CE) content for Vincentian pharmacy professionals to maintain their knowledge, skills and competencies in their specific areas of pharmacy practice. “It is my hope that this CPD platform is fully utilised by our members and that their evidence –based, patient oriented quality of practice will be so enhanced to provide better pharmaceutical care services to the Vincentian populace.” We are thankful for the invaluable opportunity the CPA has presented with the development of this CPD platform for member organisations like the SVGPAINC.

Chairperson – SVGPAINC Steering Committee
Welcome, SVGPAINC members, to this CPD platform. On this interface, you will access CPD content and relevant information relating to continuing pharmacy education and professionalism in general. The content covered will be on a range of relevant medical subjects such as chronic non-communicable diseases e.g. diabetes to antimicrobial stewardship of which pharmacists are the vanguards for preventing antibiotic misuse and abuse.
This CPD platform has a self-directed approach to continual learning and will place a vast amount of information in one place for our members that is only a click away. Thus, allowing actively subscribed members of SVGPAINC to build their knowledge base, applied skills and competencies at their own pace with free access. Since CPD credits will soon be mandatory by the St. Vincent & the Grenadines Pharmacy Council for all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to secure licensure, this CPD platform provides an important avenue of access with affordability to continuing education modules for learning.
