Breast Cancer Education Bundle

Bobby Walker · December 15, 2025

Welcome to the Breast Cancer Education Bundle.

This Bundle is a collaboration between the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association and the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP), and provides access to high-quality, globally relevant training and resources for you to strengthen your role and contributions to the cancer care continuum, in particular breast cancer, from early detection to survivorship.

As part of this education bundle, you have access to:

  • A 70-minute webinar exploring pharmacists’ roles in the breast cancer patient journey, with expert oncology pharmacists from across the globe
  • A range of foundational oncology learning resources from ISOPP, to strengthen your clinical oncology knowledge and support your professional development
  • A moderated online discussion forum hosted by ISOPP, enabling peer-to-peer learning and knowledge sharing (closed September 2026)

Learning objectives

The overall objectives of the Breast Cancer Education Bundle are to:

  • Identify and explain critical touchpoints in the breast cancer patient journey where pharmacist interventions can improve outcomes.
  • Apply appropriate strategies to support early detection, medicines optimisation, and survivorship care in pharmacy practice.
  • Analyse and evaluate multidisciplinary models of care to determine how pharmacists can strengthen continuity and person‑centred cancer care.
  • Develop and demonstrate the knowledge and clinical skills required to work safely with anti‑cancer drugs and patients receiving them, through participation in the Pharmacy Anti‑Cancer Drug (PAD) Course.
  • Explain and apply foundational concepts of targeted therapies and immunotherapies for cancer by completing the Understanding Targeted Therapies and Immunotherapies for Cancer (UTIC) course.
  • Integrate and evaluate the fundamentals and advanced aspects of oncology pharmacotherapy by incorporating biosimilars safely and confidently into clinical practice, and interpret scientific and regulatory data to provide evidence‑based recommendations within the healthcare team.

The Breast Cancer Education Bundle launched in November 2025 and is available for a 12-month period.

  1. Watch our ‘Pharmacists at the Forefront: Advancing Breast Cancer Care from Early Detection to Stewardship’ webinar
  2. Complete the three foundational oncology resources
  3. Submit a short final reflection piece
  4. Receive your certificate of completion
