An introduction to Behaviour Change

CPA · July 28, 2023

Healthcare professionals are well placed to understand the role of behaviour in prescribing and prescribing practices and to lead the design and implementation of behaviour change interventions. This course will provide foundational knowledge on the role of behaviour in healthcare practice, the influences of behaviour in healthcare contexts and how to develop behaviour change interventions.

By working through this course, you will understand the theories that underpin behavioural science relevant to your work and be able to use theory to develop interventions for positive change. In order to benefit from our practical behaviour change training programmes, this course will provide a fundamental understanding of behaviour change. You should complete this training before attending any of our practical behaviour change courses.
